Overview
Amen (“the App”) is a voice-first Christian companion app operated by Miracle Plus Investment LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We designed Amen to collect the minimum data
necessary to provide the service.
What We Collect
- Device Identifier (required): a random ID generated on the device and/or by our backend to maintain an anonymous session, enforce quotas, and prevent abuse. We do not link this ID to your real identity.
- Purchase Metadata: limited information related to Apple in-app purchases (e.g., product ID, receipt status) to unlock features. Payment details are handled by Apple; we do not receive card numbers.
- Crash/Performance Data (if enabled by OS): basic diagnostics from Apple to improve stability. We do not build user profiles.
Voice & Audio
During a session, your microphone audio is streamed to a third-party voice/AI SDK solely to generate real-time responses.
We do not use audio to identify you. We do not sell or monetize audio data. We do not store raw audio on our servers.
The third-party provider may process audio transiently to deliver the service. Where supported, we request the provider not retain audio beyond what is technically necessary.
How We Use Data
- Operate core features (real-time voice conversation).
- Measure usage against your plan and enable overage purchases.
- Maintain security (e.g., rate limiting, fraud prevention).
- Comply with legal obligations and App Store policies.
What We Don’t Do
- No selling of personal data.
- No third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
- No contact list, photos, or precise location access.
Third-Party Services
We rely on third-party processors to provide the service, for example:
- Voice/AI SDK: processes streamed audio to produce responses.
- Apple In-App Purchase / App Store: handles payments, subscriptions, and receipts.
These providers act as processors or independent controllers for their portions of data. Their privacy terms apply to their services.
Data Retention
- Device ID & plan/usage: retained while your app usage remains active; resets if you delete/reinstall or request deletion.
- Server logs: short-term retention (typically ≤30 days) for security and reliability.
- Purchase receipts: retained as required for fraud prevention and audit.
Legal Bases (GDPR/EEA)
- Performance of a contract (providing the app features you request);
- Legitimate interests (security, preventing abuse, improving reliability);
- Legal obligation (tax/audit for purchases).
Your Choices & Rights
- You can reset your data by deleting the app (which resets the device ID) or by contacting us to request deletion.
- Subject to region, you may request access, correction, deletion, or portability of data associated with your device ID.
- You can opt out of Apple diagnostics in iOS Settings.
Children
Amen is intended for users aged 13+ (or the age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under this age.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards (TLS encryption in transit, restricted access, least-privilege practices). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
International Transfers
Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our processors operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards where required.
